For hand-washing the blade assembly, use a dishwashing utensil with a handle to avoid direct contact with the sharp blades. Exercise caution when handling the blade assembly, rinse thoroughly, and air-dry all parts. Accessories are top-rack dishwasher safe, but avoid using a heated dry cycle. Be sure to remove the blade assembly and lid before placing them in the dishwasher. For the motor base, turn off and unplug the unit before cleaning, then wipe it down with a clean, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cloths, pads, or brushes on the base. To store the unit, wrap the cord with the hook-and-loop fastener at the back of the motor base—never wrap it around the bottom. Store the unit upright, with the blade assembly inside or attached to the pitcher with the lid securely locked.
