How Does it Work

How do we ensure value for money for you and your guests?

It is important to us, and to you, to know that your guests are getting value for money when they purchase your gifts through our website and this is why we are offering a pledge to price match our products against John Lewis Partnership (“John Lewis”) department stores.

Our pledge is that if your guest finds exactly the same product being sold by John Lewis on the day that they purchased your gift at a cheaper price then we will refund the difference between what they paid and the John Lewis price.

How do we compare prices?

Firstly we need to be sure that the product is available for purchase at any UK John Lewis department store or online. Our team also need to be satisfied that the product is the same make, model, size and colour and comes with the same conditions of sale, delivery times and service conditions that Prezola offer.

What if you do find a lower price at John Lewis shops?

If you do find the same product for sale at a lower price in any John Lewis store in the UK or online you can make a price match request. To do this, please make sure that you obtain proof (this could be a screenshot of a website) and contact our Customer Services team by calling 0800 488 0082 or email customerservices@prezola.com.

If we agree with your request, Customer Services will be in contact to arrange a refund within 21 days. All refunds can only be applied to the original payment card used.

Which John Lewis Partnership stores are included within the price match?

We will accept prices obtained from any John Lewis Partnership department store in the UK or John Lewis Partnership website. We will not price match against Waitrose stores or any John Lewis Partnership stores based outside of the UK.

What restrictions are in place?

The John Lewis Partnership price must be publicly available to all customers. It must be valid on the day that the wedding gift was purchased from the Prezola website by the wedding guest – please bear in mind that we will need proof of the date that the price was available.

We do not offer this price match against any electrical items or vouchers purchased on the Prezola website. Vouchers include Prezola vouchers and experience days.

The offer to price match is only available to the wedding guest and not the registered couple. Furthermore, the price match only applies to the date of the original product purchase – if goods are exchanged (either pre or post delivery) then the price match pledge is not available.

The goods must be in stock at John Lewis rather than available to order. We will take into consideration any delivery charges or other associated charges.

We will match prices on a sales price promotion at John Lewis as long as the sale price meets the above criteria. Please be aware that this clause does not apply to any type of discount codes or loyalty bonus offered by John Lewis.

This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount or promotional offer available to the wedding guest. Prezola reserve the right to withdraw this offer at any time.

We currently only offer a price match against John Lewis’ prices and no other retailers.
